Welcome to Our Website

My name is Larry LaRocco and I'm running for the United States Senate because Idaho needs new leadership. Idahoans deserve to have a Senator who's going to fight for our state -- somebody who will fight for real change in Washington.

All across the country, with their voices and their votes, the American people are crying out for change. You can see it here in Idaho, too.

As I travel and “work for the Senate” across our state, people are fired up and mobilized like never before. For too long, Idaho has been left behind and forgotten by the politicians in Washington, DC. Well that's going to change. But I can't do it alone.

It's time for people to stand up and take notice of what's happening here in Idaho -- and it starts with you, right now. Can I count on your help?

Larry Working for The Senate

Modern political campaigns are awash in money, consultants, and negative TV ads, and candidates typically spend very little time actually meeting voters. Larry LaRocco believes there’s a better way to run for office, and he calls it his “Working for Senate” campaign.

Beginning in June 2007, Larry started taking jobs all across Idaho, working shoulder to shoulder for a day with people from all walks of life. He’s doing it so he can learn more about what it’s like for Idahoans who work hard every day to make better lives for their families. “The fact is, Idahoans are tired of being taken for granted by aloof politicians who have no idea what working families face in their daily lives,” Larry says. “I will take no voter for granted.”

A Letter from Senator Jon Tester

Dear Working Idahoan,

Larry LaRocco and I have a lot in common:

  • We both love the Northwest. Larry and I live in the 2 most beautiful states in the country (though we always debate whether Idaho or Montana tops the list)!
  • We both know the value of hard work. I'm a farmer near Big Sandy, Montana and work the same land my grandparents homesteaded almost a century ago. Larry has taken 25 different jobs in his "Working for the Senate" campaign, putting himself in the shoes of Idahoans from all walks of life.
  • We both know what it's like to be an underdog. When I first got in the race for U.S. Senate three years ago, most people didn't give me a chance -- but with the hard work and support of friends all across Montana, I defeated 3-term Republican incumbent, Conrad Burns.

Larry LaRocco is an underdog in this year's Senate race in Idaho too -- but I've been in his shoes and, frankly, I like his chances.

In fact, with your help, Larry and I can share one more thing in common: Serving together in the U.S. Senate. Let's make it happen.

Contribute to Larry LaRocco's campaign today -- and send him to Washington to serve with me in the United States Senate!

You and I know that there's a powerful Democratic wave of change sweeping from coast-to-coast across America.

We've seen it in the presidential primaries and caucuses, where a record-breaking 35 million people voted for Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton over the past 5 months.

In particular, we've seen it in Montana and Idaho, where a huge surge of Democratic voters came out and smashed our previous turn-out records.

Now let's make sure Larry LaRocco is poised to ride that Democratic wave to victory this November.

Contribute to Larry LaRocco's campaign today -- and send him to Washington to serve with me in the United States Senate!

The U.S. Senate needs more people like Larry LaRocco -- public servants who won't forget where they came from and will work hard, every day, to improve the lives of the people who elected them.

I'm proud to call Larry LaRocco a friend, and I'll be even prouder to call him a colleague.

So let's get Larry elected this November.

Contribute to Larry LaRocco's campaign today -- and send him to Washington to serve with me in the United States Senate!

Sincerely,

Jon Tester
U.S. Senator (D-Montana)
