Introducing "Working for Senate"

Beginning in June of 2007, Larry has been traveling the state of Idaho taking everyday jobs, working shoulder-to-shoulder with Idahoans to learn about their aspirations to provide a comfortable life for their families.  By getting into the workplaces and break rooms where real conversations are happening, Larry is getting first-hand exposure to what voters across the state need from our state and country.

“The fact is, Idahoans are tired of being taken for granted by aloof politicians who have no idea what working families face in their daily lives,” Larry says. “I will take no voter for granted.”

Larry has taken jobs that have been both mentally and physically challenging.  For example, he's worked on the line of a sugar plant, worked as a teller in a credit union, collected trash, herded sheep, recycled tires, worked at an Internet startup company, served food at a restaurant, worked on several farms and has even done some plumbing! And he welcomes his next challenge.
