LaRocco to Work His 18th Job at Noah’s Angus Ranch

February 22, 2008

Cambridge, ID – Tomorrow, February 23rd, former Congressman and Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate, Larry LaRocco will work the 18th installment in his “Working for Senate” campaign at Noah’s Angus Ranch in Cambridge, ID.

Noah’s has been an Idaho tradition since 1971 when Bill and Zola Noah, along with their middle son Randy moved to Cambridge in 1971 with 69 cows and 1 bull. They began participating in local bull sales but chose to start the tradition of private treaty sales. They now have a fourth generation, family owned and operated, Angus seed stock production program that is based on a core set of beliefs firmly rooted in the mission to be a resource to cattlemen with repeatable Angus seedstock.

“I am delighted to accept this invitation from the Noah family to work with them on their Angus ranch,” said LaRocco. “I am looking forward to assisting their crew and learning more about their herd sire operation. They provide cattlemen all over America with quality Angus seedstock and they represent the best tradition of Idaho cattle ranchers.”

LaRocco has worked with smokejumpers based in McCall where he rigged cargo chutes for the base. He has also hauled garbage in Orofino, worked in a nursing home in Pocatello, made cheese in Twin Falls, assisted probation officers in Lewiston, and sold peanuts at a Boise Hawks baseball game. While working as a nursing assistant at Beacon Hospital & Rehabilitation in Pocatello, LaRocco helped feed patients, combed their hair, and washed their faces.

LaRocco will work at total of 30 “Working for Senate” jobs during his campaign for U.S. Senate.
