Join LaRocco for Good, Honest, Dirty Work

May 16, 2008

Boise, Idaho – U.S. Senate candidate Larry LaRocco proved he didn’t mind dirty work when he kicked off his “Working for the Senate” campaign as a garbage man in Orofino a year ago.

Monday in Meridian LaRocco is back at it again, joining the hard-working folks at Tire Disposal & Recycling—1405 Olive (intersection of Fairview and Eagle at the yellow freight terminal).

The job starts at 7:30 a.m. and lasts until 3 p.m. He’ll join a crew that cruises the area picking up recycling.

“By working shoulder to shoulder with Idahoans, I learn firsthand what struggles hard-working families face,” LaRocco said. “One thing I know is that they’re working harder, longer and making less money.”

LaRocco won’t forget those families when he is in Washington, D.C. And, he is so convinced that working day-long jobs (this is his 22nd) that he will keep doing it even when he is in the U.S. Senate.
