LaRocco is a MetaGeek for a Day
May 19, 2008
Nampa, Idaho – After slinging tires for a recycling company Monday, U.S. candidate Larry LaRocco will work a day on the cutting edge of hi-tech business.
On Tuesday, LaRocco will take his 23 job in his “Working for the Senate” campaign at MetaGeek in Nampa, a busy internet startup that makes wireless internet networks work harder for small businesses. They’ll let LaRocco know what small internet startups need from Congress to make Idaho more fertile ground for growing internet startups.
LaRocco will be working there from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
MetaGeek, LLC
5465 Terra Linda Way Suite 96
Nampa, ID
Office - 208.489.1596
The job contrasts with LaRocco’s work for a tire recycling company on Monday, when he hucked worn out tires into a truck. But, he won’t forget any Idaho worker in Washington, D.C.
LaRocco is also keenly interested in using the latest internet technology in campaigning. He has participated in live blogging, most recently answering questions live and online for Spokesman Review columnist and blogger Dave Oliveria.
And, LaRocco will hold Idaho’s first-ever, live, online, video town hall meeting at noon, MDT, Thursday, May 22. To visit, go to http://laroccoforsenate.com/townhall.
